I am a registered and accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). Additionally, I hold a Level 5 Certificate in Working with Children and Young People, a qualification recognised by Ofqual (Qualification Number: 603/6873/1) developed in partnership with The King’s Trust.

I also have a diploma in Hypnotherapy and I am a registered member of the National Hypnotherapy Society ( Registration No: HYP21-00630)

I have a private counselling practice in West Northamptonshire where I see both adults and young people, as well as working as a secondary school counsellor near Oxford.

​Over the past 30 years, I have built a comprehensive career in education, encompassing senior pastoral leadership roles and a deep commitment to supporting students with neurodiversity. Furthermore, my experience with two counselling charities, Place2Be and Sarah Agnes Foundation, which support both adults and young people, has enriched my professional practice and strengthened my ability to work across a wide range of ages and specialisms.

Throughout my career, I have learned that when people feel heard, understood, and valued, they can grow and thrive. This belief forms the foundation of my approach and my commitment to offering that experience to others.

I am committed to ongoing professional development and have completed a range of CPD courses, including Mental Health in Adolescents and Young People, Bereavement Support for Children and Young People, Putting Polyvagal Theory into Practice, Counselling Autistic Clients and Using Internal Family Systems Therapy.

I maintain current Safeguarding Certificates and a portable DBS, ensuring best practice and compliance in my work.

I am fully insured and registered with the ICO (Registration Reference: ZB951764).

​I have regular supervision and adhere to all ethical guidelines of the NCPS (Membership Number: NCS22-01058)
